RWAStarkShift.findDipoleCoupledStates(debugOutput=False)[source]#

Finds the states in basisStates that directly couple to targetState via single photon electric dipole transitions.

Saves the states and their detunings relative to targetState to dipoleCoupledStates and dipoleCoupledFreqs.

Parameters:

q (int) – laser polarization (-1,0,1 corresponds to \(\sigma^-\) \(\pi\) and \(\sigma^+\) respectively)
